Lake Day
What better place to spend a hot summer day than at one of Vermonts beautiful state parks? Spend the day fishing, kayaking, picnicking, or simply relaxing beachside at two of our nearest parks, Emerald Lake in East Dorset or Lake Shaftsbury. Both are located about 20 minutes from Manchester Center and each are sure to provide you with some fun in the sun!
Horse Show
Every year the annual Vermont Summer Festival comes to the area for a month long of horse show fun! Make a day of it and watch the athletes, shop the on site boutiques and grab a bite to eat. The horse show runs from July 5th - August 12th so there will be plenty of time for you to catch some of the action!
Golfing
Manchester is surrounded by a number of beautiful golf courses to accommodate every skill level. From the Equinox Golf Resort , Manchester Country Club, Ekwanok Country Club, and the Practice Tee there should be plenty around to keep the everyday golf enthusiast busy!
