Pumpkin Patch
It can't be fall without a trip to pick out that perfect pumpkin for carving. Visit the Equinox Valley Nursery where you can walk through their extensive pumpkin patch, take a hayride through the corn field and take in all the beautiful foliage, and don't forget to try their amazing home made cider donuts! When fall comes around this is the place you want to be!
Hiking
All around Vermont you can find amazing hiking trails that will bring you to sights that can not be seen anywhere else. The Manchester area has a vas array of trails for beginners to those more experienced. The Equinox preserve contains 11 miles of hiking trails from the pond loop to the long steep summit up to the top of Equinox mountain. Other local trails include Lye Brook with one of the tallest waterfalls in Vermont, as well as Prospect Rock and Bromley Mountain Trail. So get out there and start the hike!
Mad Tom Orchard
The Mad Tom Orchard in East Dorset Vermont has been family owned by the Smith family since 1962. Each year they grow some of the most delicious apples for you and your family to come and pick on your own to enjoy. With over 1,300 apple trees of many different varieties there will be something for everyone’s taste buds! Skyline Drive
What better place to view the spectacular Vermont foliage than the top of a mountain? The Mount Equinox Skyline Drive offers the whole outdoor experience and beautiful views right from the comfort of your vehicle. Take the 5 mile summit up to the top of Mount Equinox and take in the 360° views at 3,300 ft!
